Marc and Marilen Morris

Missionaries - Asia/Pacific

Marc and Marilen are veteran overseas ministry workers, having served in Asia/Pacific for more than 25 years. Their responsibilities include general church administration, short-term missions, and international benevolence.

Presently, Marc serves as the regional superintendent of North/Southeast Asia and Oceania—more commonly known as Austral-Asia. With ample experience as an administrator and counselor in the Asian context, Marc’s passion is to facilitate church health and growth in one of the church’s most vital regions. Key countries include Japan, Korea, Philippines, Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and Kiribati.

Marc, a Lee University and Pentecostal Theological Seminary graduate, was appointed in 1987 to lead the World Evangelism Action Center (WEAC) in Manila, Philippines. This office facilitates short-term missions teams and administers a national medical missions program.

WEAC teams help in pastoral/church worker seminars, construction projects, medical relief clinics, sports evangelism, and special outreaches for children. A well-known Filipino medical mission, Bigay Buhay (Give Life) also had its genesis from WEAC short-term missionaries. The ministry has touched over 100,000 people in its two decades of outreaches.

In 1998, Marc and Marilen founded Samaritan’s Place, a licensed and accredited orphanage and community services agency that provides residential care for orphaned, abandoned, and neglected Filipino children. It is also licensed to serve as an official liaison agency with foreign adoption agencies.

The couple has two children, Christopher and Michelle.
